The Clamp

Clamping Straight, Tees and Elbows

The clamping mechanism is versatile enough to work with all types of connections.
Track head bolts and nuts conform to ASTM A-183 minimum tensile 110,000 psi (758340 kPa). Plated (to ASTM B-633) bolts and nuts are standard on most couplings.

The bolts/nuts secure the entire joint together. Unlike flanged systems, the bolts are not taking the primary load, nor are they functional in the sealing process. The bolts hold the coupling housings into the grooves and contain the gaskets. Once tightened (metal-to-metal, with an offset on rigid couplings), The standard bolt head is an oval-neck configuration conforming to openings in the housing bolt pads. This permits tightening the nuts from one side without a backup wrench.
In this picture, the bolts have been removed. The static water pressure was 100 PSI.

Product Testing and

Technician Certifications.

Integrity Industries utilizes a mobile test stand to test our methodology and to train our field technitions. Each technition working with the patented grooved pipe clamp is shop certified on a veriety of connection types. These mobile test stands allow us to conduct development and training at our vendors by their experts directly. We can also demonstrate at our clients facility in select cases.
We pressure test with static water pressure. Typical HVAC grooved coupling systems operation between 60 - 70 PSI. Our certification includes holding pressure at 100 - 150 PSI for an hour with the bolts removed for all fitting configurations.
